The combination of children in nature is so beautiful to me. Their curiosity really comes through and their personality shines. We go on a short nature walk, explore in the creek, blow bubbles, tell stories and jokes while I capture all the cute moments, the genuine smiles and real expressions.
There is no sit and smile with my sessions, no awkward posing, or weird props. Instead, your photos tell a story and capture who your child is today. They capture the relationship and bond you share. The way they hold your hand, and their body relaxes into yours. The eskimo kisses and airplane rides help kids forget about my camera and allows me to document them authentically.
We did Westin's session on Father's day which was perfect because he is a daddy's boy! I loved the way he would light up as soon as daddy picked him up. Sir W. is inquisitive and enjoyed exploring "Dirty Woman Park" in Monument. Don't let the name fool you, this park is a treasure with a bridge, wooden fences, mountain views and old gorgeous trees. And if you care curious about the name, you can read a little more about it HERE.
Most of the session was focused on getting Weston's 2 yr photos. Of course I made sure to get a few with his family. I am so excited to be photographing his brother's cake smash 1 yr session in a few weeks!
