Amanda and Josh are expecting their second little one to join the family and they wanted to let all their friends and family know with an "Egg-citing Easter" pregnancy reveal. ;)
They are new to Colorado and already did a few "casual" portraits in our gorgeous mountains, so they wanted to dress up and do something a little more formal. I suggested the amazing Broadmoor Hotel for their session. With gorgeous blossoms, a pond, the amazing architecture and nature that surrounds the property, The Broadmoor provided endless photo opportunities inside and out. We spent a lovely morning exploring this beautiful property while capturing sweet memories as they spend there last few months as a family of three.
Did you know you do not have to stay at the hotel to enjoy this luxury resort? You can dine at their amazing restaurants, and take your momma out for a delicious Mother's Day brunch. The hotel is filled with elegant cafes and lounges and is a museum all on it's own with a historic marble staircase, photography/art work hanging throughout the buildings and wonderful displays that they change frequently. If you love history you will love the two FREE museums on the property - The Penrose Heritage Museum or The Pomar Carriage Museum which are both excellent, especially if you are a local history lover! In the winter you can take your kids to see Santa and enjoy the winter light displays. Then, in the summer you can stroll around the pond and even do a little shopping at the on-site boutiques. If non of that sounds exciting, then there is also golfing, bowling, the Spa, a high ropes course and so so so much more. It's one of the world's most famous hotels and I am so lucky to live so close and have the privilege of photographing there.
I am so excited for this little family, especially for Sir. A who is going to be an AMAZING big brother! This little "bunny" is already so loved <3.
